You said, In your last priority survey, that Road Safety Issues/Highway Obstructions/Parking issues were a top priority in your area. If you’ve spotted bad or inconsiderate parking, you can report it directly to Lancashire County Council. They are the team responsible for dealing with parking issues. You can report issues around parking here: Report a parking problem - Lancashire County Council Parking complaints such as vehicles on double yellows, obstructive parking, overstaying, or misuse of bays are usually handled by the local authority’s parking enforcement officers. Unless a vehicle is causing a dangerous obstruction or there’s another clear police matter, we can’t take enforcement action.
Moreover, Lancashire Constabulary takes reports of speeding seriously. We understand speeding poses a real danger to everyone, not just road users. You can report regular excess speed to us at Speed Concern Submission – Lancashire Road Safety Partnership . We have already completed a community road watch at the following locations: We can continue to complete further road watch taskings with your support. If you make the report, we can complete the action. You can also upload dashcam footage to OPERATION SNAP, this allows our specialist teams to review and action footage sent in by members of the public. You can help make a real difference.
